Loading ...Nintendo DSi launching in North America after April 2009

When the new Nintendo DSi was announced during Nintendo’s Media Summit we found out that the device would launch well into 2009 in North America. Reggie Fils-Aime has announced in an interview with G4 that they won’t be launching the new DSi until the next fiscal year, so that’s after April. Meanwhile, Nintendo wants to boost the sales of the Nintendo DS Lite. In the interview he also talks about the importance of the new DS Shop function.

only the DSi shop is region locked, the rest isn’t

personally i think therye making a huge mistake….they need to work on comfort for one….for two they took off the gba slots…i think ill stick with my ds lite….i have cameras and i have the ps3 with the pseye if i want a camera to play with ill use it and have it in HD

and to collin the reason it takes so long is consumer research….they wont release it into a market that might not get it….also with america being in a economic crisis they need to make money not lose it….if nobody has the money to buy it nintendo loses money makin it for nobody to buy it

I Do not really like the DSI Because the took out the GBA slot for portability.I mean Who cares about portability We Want game ability And cameras on A portable gaming system come one who the fuck wants to take pictures when playing a game or compare facial features any game like that who hane some damn issues

theres a rumor that the dsi will be released on april 4th and it will cost $179.99
